Aunt Brigita's Rose

Aunt Brigita’s Rose Garden was a place full of magic.
A place where all those little bugs and insects we usually shy away from seemed so friendly and kind.
At times, I could see and hear tiny smiles and giggles on their antennae, wings, and shells.
The scents and colors that reigned there gave the whole space a fresh, playful beauty — a kind of magical allure.
They held me in a hypnotic embrace; my very being became part of the garden, and butterflies played in my hair.
It was from that very rose that Aunt Brigita made the best rožoljo (rose liqueur) ever.
